Bar Chart
A bar is a visual representation of price movement over a given period. A bar chart is a group of bars in chronological order. In IQC.COM and RightLine Charts's bar charts, each individual bar consists of a vertical line and a horizontal line extending to the right from a point on the vertical line. The top and bottom of the vertical line are the high & low prices of the stock during that time period. The horizontal line is the closing price of the stock during that time period.
This is a daily bar chart of America Online. The color of the bars correspond with RightLine Charts's proprietary indicator, IQC Zone. You can choose up to four indicators at a time to display above the chart, such as IQC Zone, by clicking "Indicators" within RightLine Charts. Bar charts can be displayed in historical daily, weekly & monthly charts as well as intraday charts, such as 5-minute and 15-minute intervals.
